We keep a changing inventory of used e-bikes and manual bikes. Bring us your current bike, let the team inspect it and we can tell you whether a trade-in credit makes sense toward a bike we have for sale. Credit is based on the bike we see and the market at the time; it is not a guaranteed percentage or amount.
How trade-in credit works
We check ownership and condition
We look for a frame or serial number and proof of ownership, then inspect the frame, tyres, brakes, brake pads, gears and drivetrain.
We work out a credit value
The team weighs visible wear, likely repairs, parts condition, current market pricing and demand before deciding what credit we can offer.
Choose from current inventory
If we agree, the credit is applied toward an available BikeTirana manual bike or e-bike. We confirm the exact credit and bike before any handover.
What we look at
The team considers the bike as a whole, not just the brand on the frame.
- Frame, wheels, tyres, drivetrain and general condition
- Brakes, brake pads, gears and other parts that may need work
- For e-bikes: motor, display, battery label/capacity, charger and keys when available
- Frame or serial number, proof of ownership and any paperwork you have
- The current market and the preparation the bike would need before resale
What affects the credit
The cleaner the history and the clearer the condition, the easier it is to value the bike fairly.
- Frame condition, visible wear and the frame or serial number
- Tyres, wheels, brakes, brake pads, gears and drivetrain
- For e-bikes: motor, display, battery label/capacity, charger, keys and general electrical condition
- Ownership evidence, purchase or service paperwork and the current market for that model

What can I trade in?
We can consider manual bikes and e-bikes. The team decides after inspecting the individual bike and checking that it can be legally transferred.
How much credit will I get?
There is no fixed percentage or guaranteed amount. Credit depends on condition, repairs, parts, ownership evidence, market pricing and the inventory we can take on.
Can the credit be used on any bike?
Credit is toward an available bike in BikeTirana’s current inventory. We confirm the eligible bike and exact credit before the exchange.
Do you check the battery on an e-bike?
We inspect the motor, display, battery label or capacity information, charger and keys where available. Any further testing is discussed before we value the bike.
Can I sell the bike for cash instead?
Yes, if you prefer cash, see our cash-purchase page. An offer is only made after the same inspection and team discussion.
